recordings

As well as playing bass and guitar on various recordings by other artists over the years, I've also recorded some solo material of my own.  The first album (Hugh McClelland Unplugged) was only ever issued on cassette and never officially released.  I used to sell copies at gigs when I performed my own material.

The next recordings were released on a series of CD EPs.  The first one, 'Songs for a Summer Afternoon' had the following songs on it: 'Kissing My Chance Goodbye', 'You're Just Not Fair', 'Won't Stop Me Leavin', and 'Losing My Sleep Over You'.

The second one was called '10 out of 10' and featured the following songs:  '10 out of 10', 'Again & Again', 'Tearing Out My Hair' and 'The Hots for You'.

The third one (my personal favourite), 'Losing My Sleep Over You' contained 'The Chase', 'Losing My Sleep Over You', '10 out of 10' and 'Lady Jane'.

The subsequent album 'Kissing, Tearing & Losing' brought all these tracks together in one collection.

The photos used for the cover artwork on all these discs were taken at a deserted lido in Baylis Park, Slough.  I was lucky to capture these photos when I did as the whole site was sadly bulldozed into the ground shortly afterwards.
